My name is Ellyn Nester. My specialties in real estate include renovation of properties for resale, working with investors, assisting senior adults during transitions from a single family home to a down size retirement situation, and staging of homes for sale. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors and of its local chapter the Central Carolina Realtors Association.

I am a problem solver. I enjoy the challenge of finding the most appropriate property for my clients. My experience as a project manager for multiple renovation projects allows me to see the real potential of a given property. After just one year in the business, I received the salesperson of the year award from my brokerage for closing over two million two hundred fifty thousand in sales in 2008.

I am a Hoosier by birth who met my husband, Joe, while working in Florida. We've been married 17 years and have an almost 13 year old son. I've worked in several churches as both a Christian educator and a preschool director in my professional life. Several years ago I completed Clemson University's master gardener program and recently completed its regional master naturalist program. Looking at real estate has long been an interest of mine, and I received my license in March 2007. I enjoy working in the yard, volunteering in my community and church, antiquing, and creating.
