My name is Joe Nester and I have spent the last six years working in various capacities in the real estate industry. I have gained a wide range of experience in residential resale, residential new construction, commercial, land, and foreclosed properties in and around West Columbia South Carolina. I also have extensive experience in home renovation, and investor properties. I use this expertise to guide my clients through each transaction. I started my career at a large brand name brokerage that specialized in residential resale. I had my first property listed and sold within six weeks. After a year I transferred to a brokerage that was involved in mostly commercial transactions. I spent the next two years learning the industry from a very experienced commercial broker. My second year with the company I closed over 3.4 million in sales. I was presented with an opportunity to partner with Agape Senior and market a brand new concept in independent senior living. I obtained my brokers license and opened Agape Properties. In 2008 Agape Properties purchased the EXIT real estate franchise for West Columbia.

I feel fortunate during my career to have been able to work with such a wide variety of customers and clients. I always approach any transaction looking for the best outcome for everyone involved. I started my working career in the United States Air Force working on F4 & F16 fighter jets. After 8 years of active service, and an honorable discharge, I transitioned back into civilian life as a field service engineer. I worked in the technical field doing hardware maintenance, desk-side support, project manager, and I.T. manager for the next twenty four years. I began my transition into real estate in 2003. I enjoy traveling, historical fiction, writing, and playing softball.
